1971 Mk1 Ford Escort RS2000 Recreation.

This car has had a complete new rebuild from the ground up, a number of original parts have been cleaned up and restored but the majority of the car is brand new. The shell was extremely straight and clean with type 49 extras, it had an expensive bare metal respray in including paint coating on the underneath to ensure its longevity. The car is finished in Ermine White. The cars got a type 9 5 speed gearbox.

The car was then put back together using new brakes, suspension, window seals, door rubbers, carpets, brand new professional roof lining fitted (it looks fantastic!). All original door furniture (which is very hard to find), new steering rack, ball joints, brake lines, new fuel lines and fuel tank. Bilsten suspension, RS Sump & Mounts and RS Wings decals and badges all round. The interior has a 6 dial dash, new headlining and Mexico Seats. The carb has recently been rejetted and set up.

The engine and gearbox were also rebuilt before as part of the restoration, its a 2.0 Pinto and it sounds amazing and drives beautifully.
