Here we have a stunning Fast Road Mk1 Recreation Mini, the car underwent a full restoration in 2019/2020 and is in fantastic condition. The Mini began life as a 1989 Racing Flame and was rebuilt into a MK1 Cooper S recreation including, Mk1 front end, rear lights and Mk1 external hinge doors with sliding windows. The restoration included new floors, sills and front end using heritage panels as well as an engine and gearbox rebuild, new brakes and suspension components and a full respray in Old English White, it also has new powder coated front and rear subframes, its basically a new car!

The engine has been fully rebuilt and only covered 1000 miles since, the gearbox was also rebuilt at the same time and is flawless. Its a 998cc but has had an upgraded cam and twin carbs fitted giving fast road performance!


The Mini drives great, the gearbox and clutch are fantastic, as are the brand new upgraded brakes, the suspension has been upgraded to springs and fully adjustable hi-lo’s so the ride height can be adjusted accordingly.

The interior is also brand new, its a full Cobra RSR interior with bucket seats in black vinyl with eyelets and matching rear seat and door cards, (the RSR interior is inspired from 70’s 911 Porsches and cost £1200 alone!) brand new dash inserts, brand new wooden steering wheel as well as new carpets.

The car is spotless, there is no rot or rust, all chrome is brand new including new Lucas period headlights to match the Mk1 grill and overriders, in addition to the “Italian Job” 3 cluster spot lamps,  It also has brand new 13x7 Superlite alloy wheels fitted with brand new Nankang tyres and a brand new fully stainless Fletcher exhaust system

Overall the car is a beast, its fast, loud and extremely fun to drive, it comes with a long MOT (one advisory for an oil leak has been since been repaired by a classic Mini specialist), the twin carbs have also been tuned and set up correctly by a classic Mini specialist so it runs spot on and sounds like a performance Mini should.

Draw is set for Sunday 10th of July and WILL NOT be extended. If it sells faster we will draw it right away! Once all the tickets are sold, or the draw countdown timer ends - we will draw this prize live on our Facebook page using a Google Random Number Generator to select the winner. All entrants are welcome to come and watch the draw live, in person also. The entry list will be posted up on our website, under the entry list tab BEFORE the live draw. We then run a couple of tests, and once we have confirmation from live viewers that the feed is clear - we draw the winning number. You do not need to be watching as we will call you - but its good fun to! We normally get a few hundred live viewers…
