Here we have a genuine 2000 Mini Cooper Sport, the 4265th last Mini made before production ended. and one of 2091 RHD Cooper Sport final edition cars made, super rare and very sought after, especially in this condition. The car was owned by the original owner for 20 years (the original bill of sale is in the history file), it was then bought and fully nut and bolt restored by the second owner in 2021. The restoration on this car is stunning, with every single piece of the car restored, renewed or replaced at huge expense. It's essentially a brand new Mini Cooper Sport.

The restoration included extensive replacement of any rotten panels with heritage parts, the original 1275c engine and gearbox were both stripped by a specialist engine company, there is a receipt in the history file that details the work they did, including a rebore/reface of the block, new pistons, main bearings, cam bearings big ends etc, the list goes on. The gearbox is also brand new and has been gone through front to back with new bearings and synchros etc. All engine components were replaced (oil pump, water pump, alternator, clutch, fly wheel etc). The result is a beautifully driving Mini that feels like its just left the factory, the engine is still being run in from the rebuild, its so smooth and really powerful.

The car has also been subject to new powder coated subframes front and back, its as good underneath as it is on top, with brand new correct factory vented sills, new brakes (drilled and grooved discs on the front, mini fins on the back, new brake lines, callipers etc), as well as new fully adjustable hi-lo suspension, new adjustable Gaz shock absorbers and new adjustable tie rods. It was then finished with a very expensive professional respray in its original solar red with all chrome work brand new and powder coated in black, the paint on this car is stunning.

On the inside there are new Sparco racing bucket seats, new headlining, new carpets, new matching rear seat and door cards, again its like new inside, the rare Cooper sport dash has been maintained and an expensive Becker Grand Prix stereo added.

Finally, no expense has been spared to enhance the car such as the Cibie Oscar rally lights, a full stainless centre exit exhaust system (it sounds amazing) as well as new 7 x 13 Mamba alloy wheels in Anthracite with new Yokohama tyres.

In a nutshell, its a brand new car that is better than when it left the factory, the car is so much fun to drive and turns heads wherever it goes, it has a long MOT (no advisories) it comes with 2 keys, all the original Rover book pack, the original bill of sale and extensive receipts for the work carried out.
