This is a 1970 Austin Mini Cooper S Mk3 Evocation, it's just been fully rebuilt and is in stunning condition. Its running a 1293cc engine putting out approx 85 horsepower, it sounds amazing and goes like stink! This is a very fast little Mini.

It was owned and raced by the previous owner for many years and has just undergone a major restoration including new floors, inner and outer sills, A panels and wings and then professionally resprayed in glacier white with black roof. The car is spotless with no rust or rot.

Its running an A+ engine bored to 1293cc with 12g940 unleaded big valve head, flowed and ported, 649 cam, lightened and balanced bottom end, polished rods, duplex timing, lightened flywheel and centre main strap HIF44 1.75 SU, LCB wrapped manifold with Sportex twin box exhaust system. In addition it has all new engine components, such as a twin blade fan, new competition radiator, water pump, alternator and coil etc. The gearbox is A+ from an MG Metro and runs a 3.4 diff.

In addition its just had new brakes, (Cooper S 7.5” drum to disc conversion kit on the front), new hubs and shafts and uprated Gaz shocks. Its running new Minifin drum brakes on the rear, new fully adjustable Hi-lo suspension and negative camber front radius arms and a sump guard. The underneath of the car is a clean as on top.

Brand new 6x10 GB Minilight alloy wheels with super sticky Yokohama A032 tyres have just been fitted as well as brand new group 2 arches and 4 brand new rally style spot lamps with period correct Lucas covers.

Internally the car has brand new Alpine style period bucket seats and TRS 3 point harnesses, a new wooden steering wheel, historic rally dashboard and rear roll cage complete the look. Finally it has a single high capacity fuel tank and dummy right hand spout.

This car is a hoot to drive, it sounds amazing and is perfect for a B road blast, due to its historic status its also TAX and MOT exempt, because its an Evocation and not a genuine Cooper S it can be enjoyed and driven hard, its ready to jump in and be thrashed.
