Condition and Originality
This Ford Capri 2.8i stands out for its genuine, untouched condition. It retains all of its original panels, and the paintwork is largely original, with only a few minor chips and touch-ups, showcasing its 1980s charm. After all, there’s something special about owning a car in its original state, and this Capri truly reflects that.
The interior remains completely original, with no cracks in the dash and all elements in good condition. The original radio is still functioning, providing a nostalgic experience. Both the heater fan and sunroof are working well, which is a common issue in many Capris, making this one even more of a standout example. History and Documentation
The car comes with the original book packs, owner’s operating manuals, and the original service book, which contains three stamps – a testament to its well-maintained history. The Capri was driven regularly until 2004, after which it was stored away, preserving its low mileage. In 2020, it was recommissioned and has since been used sparingly, retaining much of its original character.
The car is offered with a current MOT valid until December 2025, ensuring peace of mind for the next owner.
