Suzuki GT750
Aka the “Kettle” to us Brits, the “Water Buffalo” to the Yanks, and an absolute 70s icon. This particular 1972 example landed on UK shores in 2010, bringing with it all the two-stroke charm and blue-smoke nostalgia you’d expect from Suzuki’s first liquid-cooled road bike. With its chunky styling, triple-cylinder soundtrack, and a reputation for being both rapid and ridiculously thirsty, the GT750 was a game-changer in its day. Sure, it’s got the weight of a small moon and brakes that demand divine intervention, but roll on the throttle, let that powerband hit, and suddenly you won’t care—because bikes like this aren’t about the numbers, they’re about the vibe.
