Absolutely stunning RS2000 in Venetian Red with Black Vinyl Roof and Webasto sunroof.. This car has only had 4 Previous Owners and has covered just 76000 Miles. It was first registered on 1st August 1980 by Hooleys of Nottingham and was treated with "Carshield" Rust treatment from new. It has  two sets of keys and a large history file, with photos, receipts, handbooks and brochures. 

The 1st owner had it 6 years, and the second had it until 2013, with it being dry stored for around 20 years during his ownership. The last private owner bought it in 2016.

At that point the car was in very good order but the engine bay was in need of a tidy up due to the Carshield proactive coating. The engine was removed and the engine bay cleaned and repainted. The engine and drive train was refurbished with new water pump, thermostat, timing belt, fan belt, alternator, 2 rear shocks, 2 front strut inserts, 2 roller top bearings, brake pipes, prop UJ, handbrake cable, clutch kit, All the suspension components were either cleaned and painted or powder coated. The floor was left with underseal on it as the owner wanted to use it and he states that was what had saved the car. 

The gearbox has been upgraded to a 5 speed from BGH with the longer first gear. The original interior was refurbished during 2015 and still looks like brand new. Wheels are 7" Diamond cut Alloys with Yokohama tyres. Engine is the standard spec 2.0 Pinto with original RS manifold and original air filter.

This car was regularly seen at Car shows in Scotland and was much admired.
